The Impact Investment Alliance (WA) (IIWA) is Western Australia’s key reference group for market development and stewardship of impact investment in WA. The Alliance objectives are to:
Be counted in WA’s enterprise map if you have or are exploring a social/environmental impact business model, and want a representative voice for the sector, for impact investment and for social procurement across sustainability, regenerative/circular systems, disability, health or education targeting vulnerable Australians, Aboriginal cultural impact, community inclusion, homelessness or international development.
To the end of 2019 we had over 170 responses, and are working through the data collected and engaging in follow up surveys to provide a meaningful snapshot of the sector to respondents and parties interested in building a WA social enterprise and social procurement framework. -Develop innovative, compelling policy recommendations towards a comprehensive central government policy approach to impact investment and social enterprise development in WA.
-Improve standards for impact measurement, simplifying and strengthening the investment comparison process for investors,
–Provide a platform for sharing knowledge and expertise in the field of impact investment in Western Australia,
-Advocate and educate the wider community about the benefits of impact investment for all Western Australians.
